- Development of a sensor system for tilt detection of Video Endoscopes and corresponding electronic video image correction. Design of fast algorithms for image rotation, scaling, and interpolation with help of Matlab. Implementation of algorithms into an Altera FPGA with help of VHDL.

-FPGA based fast exposure and amplification control for image sensors.

-10 GBit Ethernet: Design of an interface for transmitting and receiving image data with 10 GBit Ethernet and UDP / Internet protocol.

-SERDES: Design of an interface for transmitting and receiving image data via SERDES with 8b10b coding and decoding.

-Calculation of a High Dynamic Range Image from images with different exposure times. Implementation into a video stream.

- Dynamic defect pixel detection and correction
